I'd say that summed it up pretty well. Thank you!
This have been mentioned several times on this forum, actually. You might be able to search for it, but I am not too savvy with that. The tour groups are so bad we will never go in July again. Picture about 75-150 people all stampeding past you following one guy with a flag chanting. Now picture that same stampede doing this past an entire line full of people right up to the front of the line because ONE of their party saved them a spot in line. Disney can't do anything about it because who is going to stand up to a crowd of 100 people who conveniently don't understand English when you speak to them about their behavior (yes, I witnessed that too). Disney can't tell them they can't come because it would be discrimination. I don't care if people want to come in groups, but follow the rules, act like a human being and respect the other park goers. If you go to Guest Relations during Brazilian Tour Group Season, the line is out the door with guests complaining about the stunts they pull, and the best they can do is offer some free fastpasses or something, it puts them in a tough position.

If they do add Brazil, clothing is NOT optional..... the outfits the girls in the tour groups wear make me blush and I make my husband look away. Though I would enjoy a pavilion with lively music, CM's teaching Samba lessons outside and having impromptu dancing with guests. Shopping for emeralds and beautiful jewelry. Perhaps the pavilion addition would be an opp. for natives to speak to them in their native tongue and address their rude behavior (when it comes to waiting in line for rides and at restaraunts). I saw a older man from Brazil berate a CM hostess and demand immediate seating at a restaraunt.... we all applauded when the manager refused. Disney should make a rule as far as saving spots in line at rides that no more than 4 persons may be added.... period. They sure cut down on the people violating handicapped lines ..... Would like to see Australia first though.

NO NO NO IT WILL MAKE THEM WANT TO COME EVEN MORE. as a cast member i had a VERY bad experience with them (i was sent to the hospital for crying out loud) so i am very short with them. gosh. they need a disney park THERE so they no longer bother us. i am not a hateful nor racist person but they REALLY bother me.

Oh come now, all the chanting and singing and dancing, and no bathing for a week isn't all that bad, right? I mean, riiiiight? It's just like working for Disney, but there's more of them all clumped together in a sea of bright neon shirts! Yeah, I don't miss any of that either![]()
How can they bring a lot of money to the parks when half of them cram into hotel rooms double occupancy or just sleep in the lobbies?? I bet Disney would make more money from normal human beings who are deterred from going to the park in July every year because of this insanity.

Hello,
I'm brazilian, and I'm not going to disrespect any of you, I just want to cast my point of view regarding this issue.
First of all, I love Walt Disney World and I have been 4 times there since I was a little kid (one of them on those groups). I do realize you guys have an negative view about brazilian groups, and I'm not blaming you for them, but to generalise it for the entire country that is clearly prejudice. You may have been to the WDW a DOZEN times, and passed through brazilian families going by tHemselve many other times without noticing them because they were, as you say, Normal.
I've been a Cast Member already, and I'm planning to go back as a CM soon, and I do know how it is to deal with large crowds as groups of people. Notice you guys I said people, not emphasizing any nationality. I, for an example, had trouble with american cheerleaders at least twice while I was there, and I do not think all americans are *****y or abnouxious like those girls.
Guys, when I was a KID I thought americans were fat, ugly and self-centered people. But I get myself to know them, and I noticed many other characteristics that diminished my prejudice.
I've travelled all over the world, I've been on more than 25 countries on 5 continents and I loved and hated characteristics of each, but I do not say that "spanish people are ****" or "canadians have no personality". I say I met people that looked like that. I can say that because I get to know people and did not judge them through a particular occasion.
For these people being in Disney is a dream came true, it's a milestone on their lifes, they're happy, that's all.
Sometimes I do understand that these "happiness" get you nervous, cultural clash.
So, I accept you say those groups are loudy and stuff. But please, don't say that about all brazilians. These kind of behavior are the root of many problems we have on our world nowadays, cause its the main road for prejudice. And by that you'll be setting yourselves apart of the rest of the world, being isolated and "hated" by everyone.
Cheers (sorry for the english)

ok I completely understand your point of view. However, I believe most of us were not talking about the whole race. We were talking about the tour groups inparticular. Maybe you can answer me then....WHY are the tour groups so rude? I understand that they are excited, but that doesn't mean that it is ok to completely disregaurd everyone else's happiness in the park. Am I wrong? I speak as a guest AND former cast member when I say that 99.9% of my bad times in Disney have been linked to these Brazilian tour groups. I just don't understand. I have befriended a few cast members from Brazil and they ALL said that they are embarassed by their country's tour groups behavior. Thanks.
Yeah, as you said MOST of you guys were not talking about the whole country. Let me say something, I'm not defending these groups but I just think that these kind of behaviour is something that might happen in other situations. When I've been to Peru I've seen loads of americans and european men harassing women, messing with them, this is something that is socially unacceptable, its a crime!
I'm not saying that these groups are right, and now I'm pretty sure more groups will arrive in Florida not only from Brazil, but from Argentina and Chile as well. Disney is actually doing its best to make things better, do you guys know about the Super Greeter program? Its a new Interntional Program for ex-ICPs (brazilians, mexicans...) who are specialised on crowd control, that's the job I'm applying to July season.
In other hand, some of you guys said something about constructing a ***** Disney here, that's sad, even more when you guys have your own president asking us to come as you can see on CNN (I'm not able to post links, yet).
We do like to go to Florida and we are actually helping you guys to emerge this economic crisis right now. I just think before throwing rocks on people, you should give them a chance to be known.
And if I get to be selected to the job, I'll make my best to make your trip the best one EVER. Haha.
Cheers
I also did not mean ALL Brazilians. I am from NY, and surrounded by different cultures from all over the world all day, everyday, including Brazilians. I even had a native Brazilian room mate for awhile. However, I can glad to see that as a Brazilian, you also see an issue with the way these groups act. Just like you don't like seeing Brazilian men treat women in South America the way they do, we don't like seeing a magical place like Disney be turned upside down every July. I find it appalling that I go on vacation to rela and have fun, yet I have to worry about getting cut in line or having the children in my family hear profanities screamed out in crowds or shoved to the ground as a bunch of adults chase a guy with a flag. I also think its ridiculous that if you say something to a group member, you run the risk of being heckled by the entire group or having things thrown at you. I know from personal experience. So again, its not all Brazilians, but Disney needs to enforce their rules for them just like everybody else.
