I dont know if this is true, but a friend of mine (Big Disney fan too), was saying that there might be a new Mupppets attraction coming to DHS?
Does anyone know anything about this or have heard rumors?

Had not heard that, however rumors are always running. I'd enjoy it if they did it.
Makes sense that the Muppet rumor mill would start up with the new movie coming out.
However, now that they've finally updated the antiquated Star Wars ride, it might make sense that they do something for the Muppets. Especially since they're all out of storage having just been used in the film. You already have puppeteers on staff. Who knows, maybe they already shot something during the filming of the new movie.
They recently rehabbed MuppetVision 3D, so there may not be changes coming to it so soon. It is also the last Muppets project that featured Jim Henson as a performer.
I believe the original park plan was for more of a Muppets-themed area, but like everything it got scaled back. They could revisit that idea (replace Pizza Planet with a Muppets themed CS, etc.) but I haven't really heard anything about it.
They probably wouldnt update Muppetvision or add anything for that matter unless the movie does well. I would love more Muppets though! It'd be great to see what Doconeill said happen with Pizza Planet, although id miss pizza planet there. :(

I think they could stand a revamp. I am a big fan of Jason Segel and Amy Adams and the Muppets in general. I like that they are bringing back to the hip show it was when it debuted. The new OK Go video is shweet!

I like the Muppet show the way it is, but there are so many great characters in this group that I think DHS could easily support a second attraction with the Muppets. Maybe something along the lines of the Laugh Club in the MK, but with the Muppet characters? It could be an interactive Muppet show.
I'd venture a guess that the rumor is (as someone above said) mostly because of the movie but since they did just completely redo the existing attraction I doubt it. I don't see them having two separate Muppet themed attractions. At best I'd expect a meet and greet area that will be used to push the movie release.

When did they completely rehab the Muppet attraction? We were there last November and it looked exactly the same. Did they change anything or just make repairs?
