Jim is an INSIDER. This means he is INSIDE when the grown-ups talk. He listens to what they say and writes it down in his little notebook. Then he goes to his house and tries to decipher his writing. He posts what he thinks he wrote on his website. Sometimes he even gets it right!

Given the above post, I don't even know how to respond to that...but it is kinda self-explanatory.

You previously responded to a post of mine where I pointed something out with a very similar "of course we know it! We're not dumb!" despite the fact that the post I responded to gave a different impression.

Now, after I just explained I was just pointing out some facts because it wasn't clear whether the OP was posting in jest, fact finding, or actually believed these things but in any case presented them as matter-of-fact, and making sure that I certainly wasn't trying to berate if it was taken that way, you get sarcastic.

That tells me I'm not supposed to actually make sure facts are straight and should have your Internet psychic abilities.

Doc is correct. Nobody was intentionally berating anyone. The OP was not drafted in a fashion that would indicate it was all in jest. There is simply no way to argue otherwise.

Right. OP tried to claim that she heard these things directly from employees, which is nonsense. Case closed. Not much room for debate. Though on this site, people will attack/debate just about anything, even if it's debating whether or not there's anything to debate. Time to lock up this thread.

I am a big fan of satire. Others understandably are fans of the Family Guy type of humor where it has to be blatant or it is lost. We all have our own tastes and abilities to find humor, satire just so happens to be enjoyable for me. I can pick up on it where others can't.

Nonsense? OP has been an active member a long time. She has gone on the record many times that she has relatives that are CM's at WDW. I have a kid that has been a CM and it hilarious the rumors he has been told, especially by older CM's. I also have current relatives that are CM's. They share what they hear, usually poking fun. I don't honestly believe when they share the silliness that CM's actually mean to cause such stress to the fan community. I am fairly certain OP didn't mean to upset the membership of WDWR either. No one will have lasting ill effects from the thread. Not too many people will go to Disney disappointed Bambi isn't there, life will move forward. Heck a chunk of the Guests daily think that Harry Potter is a Disney Attraction. Likely they will live too.

And to be honest, I actually believe that at one time Bambi could have been tossed about. Disney tore out Toad and put in Pooh. It would have fit in that corner, another attraction for wee ones being so close to Pooh, Dumbo and the Carousel. And Disney is notorious so gearing up for a rehab or transition and without warning pulling the plug.
