I've only just seen pictures today of the netting around the Tree of Life. Whilst I don't think it looks too horrendous for an attraction queue area, I sure hop it's temporary. Especially if the Tree of Life trails are closed off as well at the moment. One of my fave things to do at DAK is walk around there, as it's always so quiet. Won't be the same if you have to view everything through the nets. :-(
Everything I've read on the Disnews sites has basically said it's temporary until they investigate every branch of the tree to ensure no others find their way down.
It doesn't look too bad, but I agree that when I look up to view the awe of the Tree of Life I don't want to be looking through netting. Especially since it is a prime picture location.
I think it will come down after the inspect and repair any branches that need fixing.
I am just afraid that when they investigate why the branch fell it will be something that is seen as a possible problem in future and the netting will become permanent for safety reasons.

Semi-permanent structures going in until they can work on the actual tree (I hope?).
