As of December 31, 2012 Kodak will pull out of their remaining sponsorships at WDW and DL. At WDW they are the PhilharMagic, Muppet 3D, Picture Spots, Camera Center at Epcot, Cover Story and Garden Gate Gifts.
Signage will start to be removed early in 2013.
This is Eastman's big chance to make a comeback. I hope they don't blow it.
How much film was Kodak actually still selling in wdw I wonder...

When they announced their bankrupcy earlier this year, they claimed they were going to focus on the digital age. Really Kodak? Good idea. Their decision came a bit late so I don't expect them to be around much longer. Unless the need for instamatic cameras ever resurges.Quote:

This was just a matter of time... When they filed bankruptcy I was surprised that they weren't forced to abandon the sponsorships then... I know the attractions will be fine... But what do hey do with the beginning ofthe Muppetvision preshow...? No more "Up Chuck"...?
Oh that is one of my favorite parts, not so much him holding up the Kodak sign but the up chuck humor. Wonder if they will just leave it, or rework that tiny segment. They just cleaned up that whole preshow a year or so ago and still looks clean.Quote:
