    Build a pin program cancelled

    If anyone has any additional news please feel free to pass it along.

    I have been told twice today that this summer will be the end of the Build-A-Pin program. Don't know much more.

    Waht was this? COUld you really design your own pin and haev it made? How much was it?

    If you still have build a pin bases with the add ons, they can complete them at Disney Pin Traders in DTD.

    I believe they kept one of the machines there.

    Yeah you can add "mini pins" to a base to create your own pin. They sell the bases and "mini's" at most large pin locations. Not at the carts I have seen. And the main pin "trading stations" have a machine to make the build-a-pin complete

    Wow!

    I hadn't heard anything about this program ending. I will make sure to ask when I am there next week.
    A great place to build a pin is at the Pin Traders at Downtown Disney. They have quite a stock of pins and add ons.
    Your base has holes, basically, and you can pick things to add to the holes. I think you can add hanging things as well, but I can't remember.
