Has anyone heard this about POC II

I had someone tell me that Kieth Richards of the Stones was going to play Capt. Jack's father in the upcoming POC movie. Does anyone know if this is true???

It's true. Johnny Depp stated Richards inspired his performance of Sparrow, so Depp persuaded Richards to come aboard.

But there's nothing on IMDb about it ...it seems.

That sort of explains why I thought parts of the speak of Captain Jack Sparrow seemed a little slurred. This is in no way a mean thought on Depp's performance-just a reference to Richards.

Keith's dropped out of making a cameo in the second flick and hopefully coming in for the third..."he's got a little thing called the Rolling Stones tour to do first."

I remember hearing something on an interveiw somewhere. Keith stated that he wil not be in any of the movies. I was disappointed when I heard this.

Yes your are correct disneycrayz. He is not going to be in the movie. He was being considered for that part, but all the parties could not come to an agreement.
