    Talking New Disney Toys at McDonald's!!

    Get ready to get supersized (and fat!)

    One of my little bluebirds tells me that starting this week (maybe Thursday, September 1?), McDonald's will have Disney's 50th Anniversay / Happiest Celebration on Earth toys available in Happy Meals, etc!!!



    Not a lot of info to go on, but from what I understand, there will only be 10 different toys [although earlier rumors said there may have been as many as 50 (can i have 50 Big macs, please?)] including classic characters, etc. which will be found on "autographed" stands in the shape of Mickey ears.

    It is also rumored that each meal with have a game piece, where your child (yeah right), can win food items such as side salads, or be the Grand Prize winner and get a Disney vacation.

    OK, this is "our little secret", but here you go...

    I don't think Pluto ever gets enough respect. He was always my fav as a kid.


    Luckily, I happen to know a manager at McD's (although I'm sure she's not too proud of that fact---even though I think she makes more $$ than me!)

    Our next nutritious family meal:

    SOG: "Hey, kids. . . . how about a Happy Meal?"
    7-year old: "Yay!"
    11-year old: "I'll still be hungry. . . ."
    SOG: "Great, you can have 2, just like me!"
    11-year old: "What about mom, she hates McDonalds?"
    SOG: "We'll get her 2 Happy Meals just in case she changes her mind. Let's go kids!"

    You have got to be kidding me! Of all the restaurants they pick McDs. To me that has to be the worse and most gross tasting food ever! I haven't been to McDs in more than 10 years

    I guess I"ll have to get a friend to go for me and eat the food. I'll pay my friends to get fat while I keep the toys

    Did you know at some, if not all McDonalds you can ask to buy just the toy....I think it costs like a $1.99 or something like that.

    Just sent an email to my friends....just in case you are craving a happy meal.....

    but I do think you can just buy the toy, that is what I did when I got the little kids dressed up like minnie and mickey - bought a coke and the little toys....
    Nothing to countdown to, so just smile and be happy everyday!

    You can buy the toys for $1.99, but that is what the Happy Meal costs! Drink the Coke, eat the Fries and toss the burger to the ducks at the local lake.

    Love the fries so I can give my hamburger to my 9 yr. old. It should only take a few weeks with all my kids! However, I don't think I want to race some of you to see who can get a complete set first. I hate to lose.

    They could make a new movie based on this. Instead of "supersize me" it could be "Disneyfy me"
