Could the Comcast offer help oust Eisner?

Here is my take...

It appears as though there will be a vote to oust Eisner soon. Could the offer from Comcast be the preverbial straw that breaks the camels back? I mean... By Eisner so quickly rejecting the offer from Comcast, and now with the board saying they are going to carefully review the offer... Will shareholders look at this as Eisner acting on impluse, instead of considering the offer carefully? Is this the way Eisner deals with all decisions? hmm...

but then again -- maybe the flip side will be true. Eisner spins this and says that he is trying to recreate the Disney of old... and there is no way Comcast could ever do that.

I now understand that Disney is going to "look over" the Comcast offer...

I though the loss of Pixar was the end of Michael... but could a sound business decision (if that is what it will be) like joining with (being owned by??) Comcast save his... umm... job?

Like I said, as a Disney fan, I'd like Disney to stay Disney-owned, with maybe trimming off some of the "fat" like the networks, etc.

Maybe they should just go up into Cinderella Castle, unfreeze Walt, and ask HIM what to do! :idea:
