Aside from that, it's pretty much the same as before. An aquarium, accented by the Nemo-themo, a few interactive computer game-type thingies, and that kiddy learning playground themed around Bruce and pals.

Not inside, yet. All the SeaBase Alpha signs have been removed. The wall is still up in front of the place so i can't tell if that one is still there or not.

I have to say, while it's good that some new life has been put into The Seas, Disney completely went the polar opposite here. Nemo? Come the **** on. Leaving the SeaBase Alpha theme? Bad move.

I just wish they'd be brave enough to rename it already...

I was just at DW in 02/05, and sea base was still in operation. Along with the new nemo and crush things. Are they really going to take seabase out totally???

20K, I'm with you in being glad for a new life to the Living Seas. It bored me as a kid, because I knew there were so much better aquariums so much closer to my home that I could visit so much more often. It seemed a waste to spend time at LS. But unlike you, I DO like the Finding Nemo theme. I think it helps bring a new interest to a less interesting pavilion, and Turtle Talk is just simply amazing. But as for whether I like or dislike what they are doing with the seabase thing, I think I'll wait and see what the imagineers have in store for us in the finished project. Right now it seems lackluster, but there's still an awfully big wall around the place. I'm keeping my hopes up.

I am planning atrip feb 11-18th there and they emailed me and told me it would be closed when we go. which is sad because I was looking forward to seeing everything there, I heard crush was great.

I spoke with a CM working at the gift shop about the hydros, and he said that it is "unknown" of they are coming back. Probably means "No." But we can always hope.
