You know they should make 4 more books after The Kingdom Keepers. The 2th one should be on Epoct, 3rd MGM, 4th Animal Kingdom, 5th all the parks!

...suspend your belief when reading it. Hope there's a sequel and that the errors in factual information are corrected -- some ofthe errors in this book drove me nuts

I loved it. I know that it is part of a triolgy and that it is possible that (talks are up in the air) about making it a weekly tv show on the Disney Channel. Also, if you have not read Peter and the Starcatchers, get this one as well. Check out the website...

i actually just recently got to chat with Ridley. I emailed him and asked if he had an Aim name? and he said yes and he said "i dont give it out to everyone so plz keep quiet" We talked and he says he is currently having "Book 2" edited, i asked him for a title but no such luck lol. and he did say Disney is making it into a movie

That's cool that you got to speak with him.

The last I had heard was when I spoke with Jim Hill at Mousefest. He had told me that KK hadn't made the sales that they were expecting and at that time (end of Nov) things were up in the air for more. The first book was the first of a triology.

At that time, he said that Ridley/Disney was going to see how paper back sales (not yet started) went before seeing if he would continue the story. I told JH to let Ridley know he needed to write it, even if just for me!!

When I'm in the parks, and see people looking over it, I go up to them and tell them to get it! I've probably had a good half dozen to dozen people buy it because of me telling them about it. So many people I know have read it.

I think the "errors" were great in the way I interpreted them. There was just a hint of real, and just a hint of make believe. I LOVED the book, and would love the rest of the books. I really hope he does them!! A movie would be great as well.

I thought the ending was lame. It was very anticlimatic to me. I wanted to know how Maleficient put Jez (Jessie) under a spell. I wanted the mom to realize the kid was telling the truth about not sneaking out (what a horrible feeling when your parents don't trust you when you are telling the truth). Truthfully, the book was very good up to the last chapter or two. When I got to the end I went "Huh? That's it?"

and someone said before about False facts and yes there were, i play VMK and i was excited to hear in the story about a Soda Machine but Yavn(vmk staff) later told me there is no such thing

and dont even get me started about the moat around the castle
