    Question Expedition Everest preview

    I talked to a CM a few weeks ago who said to be on the lookout for EE previews as erly as Feb, so it's possible, although I myself have not heard any specific dates.

    Cast member training starts January 8, 2006.
    Engineers already test riding trains.
    No official announcement of previews, but would expect cast member previews in Feb. and AP/DVC previews sometime in March.
    Official opening should be April 22, 2006, 8th anniversary of Animal Kingdom opening.

    Wow!! Has AK already been open that long?!?!

    ... I remember visiting it back in 1999 when it hadn't been open long: Dinosaur Ride was called 'Countdown to Extinction' and none of the rides in that area were built...

    ... Do I recall a large marquee with dinosaur skeletons and bones in it?

    I didn't see anyone on the trains, but they were cycling them through last night. Looks cool! I have some pictures (although it was dark out) and will post them when I get home.

    Great timing for the opening - 2 days before we arrive at WDW We will be at Animal Kingdom on April 30th - I expect this may be a bit busier than we were anticipating lol!
