    Dreamfinder?

Can someone explain who he was? I have been on the current version of Journey Into Imagination and I was a little freaked but liked it. I knew about the older version but had never known about the Dreamfinder until I heard of him here. Any pics also?

No pics- sorry but he was the bearded gentleman who "made" Figment. He wore a top hat. I just can't believe they would consider him "dead" with the fan base he obviously has. Not good PR!

The original JII is one of my all time faves (we're even decorating the baby's room with Figment). Here's a pic of Dreamfinder from the original ride where he creates Figment:

LOL Lou! There's never a shameless plug on your own website! You are allowed to plug your show anywhere you want!

Anyways I actually wanted to know more about him after you talked about it on your show. I was a little confused as to exactly who he was and what was his role. Also can someone tell me why Robin William's Flubber character is in the JIIF waiting area? I mean I know why the Honey I Shrunk The Kids inventor is there since the 3-d movie is nearby. But why Robin William's inventor character which I love by the way.

The Robin Williams character from Flubber and the Rick Moranis character from Honey, I Shrunk the Kids are in the JII because the ride and the Honey movie are part of the Imagination Institute. The building is supposed to be a place where inventors and scientitsts who are experts in imagination are honored and show their invetions. Personally...I liked the original JII better.

the new one makes more sense though. Isn't EPCOT supposed to be a center of science and technology? As much as I like Dreamfinder, he doesn't really fit in that theme.

Good point but without imagination where would science and technology be? I think Dreamfinder was kind of the embodiment of all different types of imagination put together into one really bizarre person.
It's a Disney thing. If you understood, your only question would be "can I go?"

That is what I think. All of us need to have a Dreamfinder in us. If you don't have dream, you usually don't accomplish much in life.
