Thanks Sean that was really helpful. I decided I am not going to not go to the parks during the days since you have been there before and have said you didn't see anything. Thanks to those who honestly answered my questions. Again it really helped alot!

I will see the people that are going during the 1st week of June there. Look for me in MK on Saturday June 3rd...I will be the one in the red shirt. HAHA. Gay or not it is awesome to see the "sea of RED" shirts that follow at the end of the 3:00 parade. on June 3rd. If you are in the MK Park on June 3rd check it out. It is one of the most impressive showings of solidarity I have ever seen.

our trip will be during gay days . but we go there because of star wars weekend .who cares if they r gay or dressed up as someone from star wars .......we were there last year for star wars weekend and gay day was going on .didnt see anything out of the way no one was doing anything that they should not have been doing ..if thats the time you want to go then go .

Most of the "Gay Day" events I know are at MK. I actually made a dinner reservation around that time last year for someplace in MK and they asked me if I would be offended by it. But they asked me nicely. They kinda hinted that it would be going on, whoever I made the reservation with. I have been amused by the sea of red though. :-)

I was there last summer during gay days with my kids. I think any group that wants to gather at Disney, great! No offence intended before you read on !

OK, had to think twice about posting but i have decided too. I have no problems with gay people, male of female. I have an aunt and an uncle who are gay. I also know other gay people and i am not at all offended but i have to say that i was in MK on a Gay Day a few years ago and it was an experience. Dont know what colour of T Shirt was supposed to wear that day but there were not many on at times. Most of the men wore leather shorts and braces (you know the kind i mean) leather hats etc and i had to explain to my children why that was. If straight men have to keep covered up then why on this particular day were some of the gay men not asked too ? The CMs should have done more.

Also while standing in queue for drinks there were 2 men openly kissing and fondling each other in front of people in the queue. Now, like i said have no problem with Gay people but i dont want it shoved in my face either (sorry if this offends) when im standing there with my kids, who are looking and pointing and asking questions. I know Disney is all about learning and fun but come on, i should be able to decide when i need to learn my kids about different sexualities in the comfort of my home and not in front of the castle in MK ! Im sure many parents feel the same way.

You ask us not to discriminate and i respect that and dont but please also respect the fact that Disney, Universal, Sea World or wherever is full of kids and young kids at that too. Go to the parks, have fun, enjoy yourself the same as everyone else you deserve too. These parks will have Gay people in them every day i visit so is it on Gay Day that i openly saw the kissing and fondling and not on any other day ? It happened throughout the day with both men and woman. Why the need to do this ? Just incase your mad at what ive written i also agree that straight people should not be acting this way either in front of kids, but why is it that its only Gay People that take offence when i say it ?

oh...my...gosh....leather shorts??? Um, what self respecting group of gay men would wear leather shorts? lol. I have oh, like a million gay friends and not one leather short among them. I think someone was imagining things. And, yeah, gay people kiss in MK, so do straight people. Whoooooo cares? I think everyone just needs to get over it. Blah. And about "exposing" kids to gay people too early...um, they're not gonna catch it. Wow, gay people exist, and they exist in public, what a revelation. How about we all lock our kids in a windowless room for 18 years until they can "handle" reality?
