i've heard something about the 35th anniversary of the magic kingdom. i don't know how much truth there is to it but, it's what i've heard.
So, I'm wondering, what is Disney's next big thing? Will they be building new attractions, having any new special events, ect. after the 50th anniversary ends in September? Does anyone have any ideas? I know about Epcot in 2007 the 25th anniversary, but I was wondering if anyone had any ideas...they would be really apprectiated.

Look for some changes around Epcot for their 25th, as opposed to WDWs 35th, as that overlaps the DL 50th.

Why is it they don't expand the monorail. Think about it every mile or track cost 1mil. but if you expand it and can elimnate a dozon bus drivers, fuel costs, road upkeep, bus maintance, it's got to add up. Think about how easy it would be to park hop between MK and AK with a monorail conection. I probley won't get the park hopper option next trip. It's too much trouble to go take a bus back to the hotel change and take another bus back to differant park. The monarail is just more efficent.
Yeah, except think about how many miles of track and trains they would need to keep up with the demand. There would be track all over the place, zigzagging back and forth, and it would obstruct your view from almost anywhere. It could be helpful, but the upkeep on the road would still have to occur because of people driving on them. Also, you would end up having to wait longer for the monorail to get from park to park, because you would have to wait to get on a monorail, go to the TTC, then go to the other park. Also, it does take monorail drivers, electricity, and maintenence to run the whole system, so its a 50/50 either way
Hey! Watch out! I plan on wearing the purple pants when I retire. Don't be getting rid of the busses just yet!
