if Disney can drop $4 billion to buy Marvel's library...then I think it can be done haha...and I never got to see that indoor ski slope 5 miles down the road in the Meadowlands done...so I'm even all the more for that idea!
In general, though, getting more themed resorts toward the parks (more closely themed rather than loosely themed as they are now) would probably draw people who like that specific park the best to stay at that resort...and then you really wouldn't be able to say it's a bad idea...just a thought however

oh absolutely... i feel like an MGM themed resort could work if it was done correctly... AK has their own resort... and maybe an idea of Walt's EPCOT plan could work within the park... like Epcot being its own resort somehow...
but now the more i think of this snow themed Disney resort with an indoor ski slop and rentals and such... the more i like... its awesome how an idea can grow on you...

Re: What type of new resort would you like to see open?
you can take that indoor ski slope idea and really run with it...it would be a huge expense, but in the long run it would probably fare better than well
Walt's EPCOT would certainly be another really cool idea as well

Re: What type of new resort would you like to see open?
yeh the expense would definitely be there but the reward would probably worth it... Just think... the mountain could really make WDW the complete package...
and i really think a resort within EPCOT would really make the park seem more how do i say it... Walt-ish...

Re: What type of new resort would you like to see open?
seems as if we have taken over this thread for our own little planning session hahaha
and I think you may get some good feedback...Disney+popular winter attraction+Disney (of course it has to be added in again)= success.....I mean, you get the surveys going, you put the concepts together...a year or so later BOOM you have a legit proposal now

Re: What type of new resort would you like to see open?
Nah, that is far too unrealistic.
I want them to open an underwater resort at the bottom of Bay Lake.
