Yoho, Yoho a pirates life for me
It'll also be nice to have a smoother ride and not be in fear of being decapitated at times!![]()

as cool as that would be, i don't see it happening. disney never likes to show construction. too badOriginally Posted by Minnie_Mouse007
so would they close tta too?! i don't want that, it's not an exciting ride, but nice way to get off your feet for a bit and still feel like you are doing something

I hope they do rebuild the ride its very bumpy and showing age. When you can hear the ride creaking its time to do somthing. Also theres no comparison to how outdadted it is to other space mountains. But its still going to be hard going to WDW and showing up in Tomorrowland with no Space Mountain waiting for you.

I have not yet gone on the new Space Moutain at Disneyland. So I don't no if the rehab was good. But still the WDW version needs a bit of an update, since it has remained practically the same since it opened in 1975.
I Wouldn't mind a change as long as the theme and the enviroment stays the same. One question though - If they remake space mountain what will happen to the tta. Will it still go through space mountain anymore, or will it even be open during the refubrishments, or are they going to close it perminataly.
I went on the new DL Space Mountain soon after it opened last year, and I thought it was great! It has a cool soundtrack, is smooth, and the darkness is almost total. The cars seemed slightly larger too, which made this "person-of-size" very happy!Only problem with DL's version is that there's only one track, since they had to squeeze the ride into DL's limited confines. Hopefully, they can re-imagineer WDW's SM without removing the two-track system.
As far as the TTA goes, on my last trip, Buzz was under rehab, and the window into that ride from TTA was blacked out. I'm sure they'll figure ot a way to keep TTA open during any rehab of SM.

if they are making the new from scratch they might as well just make a coaster like next to itand keep the old it would only cost them more money tearing the coaster everyone loved down anyway
