New WDW park????

If it was River country, I am sure they could clear out any dangers, including Gators. If they want to, they can make anything happen. They are Disney!

I dont know if this is true but I heard that Disney tried to secretly buy land in the Fort Myers, Florida area. I dont know if that ever happened or not but I have heard from many people that this is true. Does anyone know any more about this????? Please post

I heard it was going to be themed about the Disney Villians & it will mostly have roller-coasters so they can keep up with Universal & it is going to be a teenager/adult theme park, but thats what I have been told.

I heard that too. I also heard it might be a thrill park. If there is a new park, I just hope it will have an interesting theme. Not just a bunch of coasters and thrill rides put together.

ya i think that would be very cool to have a disney theme park with all rollercoasters...it would definitly attrct more adults to disney along with teens

I'm still holding out for Disney to open the America Park that supposed to go in Virginia but they cancelled.

I heard a rumor also, but on TV on one of those documentaries they do on WDW. Can't remember which one, but it was recent. I don't think it would be pirates' centered, but who knows? maybe they will surprise us!

If you were watching the Travel Channel specials on WDW I think the guy said Disney owned enough land in Florida to expand current parks OR build a new one. The narrator went on to say to expect changes and updates within ten years.

For some reason I have feeling its just going be another water park to help the crowds because the 2 water parks they have now get filled right when it opens. so its not going be river country. but most likely a pirates water park because pirate mania is still RUN WILD. also dont forget Disneyland CA is rumored that its going get a new park around 2009- 2010 so i dont think disney will make to big theme parks at the same time. but a theme park in Disneyland and a water park in WDW

I know Sea World is set to open their new water park, Aquatica, in 2008. It's supposed to be huge (59 acres as opposed to Tampa's Adventure Island which is 34). It will have all the traditional water park slides, pools, etc., plus animal interaction.

Haven't heard about one from Disney. Obviously they have the area, but I don't think if it hasn't already gotten well under way it would be able to be done before that '09-'10 rumor in DL.
