Everyone pretty much agrees that new park will come along, the real questions are when, where and what theme. My guesses on probable courses of action are
Where?
1. A California park - most likely
2. A new Florida park - not as likely more likely that a land will be added to an existing park before they build a new one
3. A new over seas park - With Hong Kong Disney recently opening, not as likely
4. A new park in the US on a third site (like the one they had planned for Virginia) - While I'd love to see this one, I doubt it. it's much easier to expand what they have than to buy new land, fight the development fight again and resell a new community to a Disney Partnership
When?
for a new park 8 to 10 years.
for a new land likely 5 years or so
What Theme? (we all have or favorite ideas but I'll try to keep on track)
1. Villains - Not very likely, unless they go with villains vs heroes type thrill rides, but it is hard to do a whole park on this theme, maybe a land.
2. Pixar park - Not Likely - pixar works into the other very easily
3. General Thrill park using movie/character themes possible, but again it's easier to add a land or attraction to an existing park (look hoe Everest has increased attendance at DAK)
4. USA/America Theme (My favorite by the way) - possible they had plans for one already easy to dust off
5. Another "Seas" type like Tokyo - possible a great way to counter Sea World and Shamu.

Most Likely - A new land for existing park
2nd Most Likely - new park in California
Least Likely - a new park on a third site un the US.
One thing with adding on to a existing park is that, some of the parks have resorts or highways already boardering them which leaves no direction for getting larger, whereas, putting in a new park, they can cut new roads leading to this area, which is one thing they have is area!
In Mk they have a bunch of room behind Poohs Thotful Spot were 20K used to be, they could revamp and still stay inside the WDW Railroad tracks. DAK has bunches of riooom, converting Camp Minnie Mickey would be pretty straightforward (it was orginally supposed to beBeastly Kingdomme so the land is already prepped ina way/ EPCOT expansion would be hard World Showcase is pretty locked in revamping the area by world of energy or the otherside by journey into imagination are about he only options. MGM has some potential as a lot of the old backlot Tour still remains and disaster xcanyon could be integrated into a theme.
Mind you i still think they need to build the America Park that wa planned for Virginia (just had to add that in).
I've heard rumors of a thrill ride park themed to Villains that can rival Islands of Adventure. That's all the details I know.
That would be GREAT. How cool would a Hati "underworld ride" be? Maybe they would move the mgm villain store over there. But honestly would parents take little kids to a Villain park or would it be more like an Anti- MK and only for grown ups.Quote:
