New WDW park????

Friend of mine just returned from a trip at WDW, she said a CM explained to her that they were going to be building a new park soon and it was a huge secret...... No other details were given. I know this is an ongoing rumor, but does anyone else know anything???

She did also note taht the CM hinted taht it was one of Walt's original ideas just like MK, AK, and Epcot were......... Any ideas?

Perhaps this could be the updates being done to Discovery Island for the Jack Sparrow cruise.........

Maybe they'll reopen River Country in a pirate theme. I was so sad when I went for the first time in 3 years last January and found out it was closed.

i know there have been rumors about this, but i honestly don't know.
I do know that it seems WDW has had Pirates fever recently, so who knows?

Ehh, I doubt it. But there's too many threads on here posting the greater probability of a new park being delayed/ in another country to talk about.

This is true! They do have plenty of Guests to try a new park. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

I'm worried that if they have too many parks in the world, then they might lose attention to one park over the other.

I doubt a 5th park is coming any time soon. The other 4 parks need work and updating more than WDW needing a 5th park. Animal Kingdom is still in development, if you think about it. The park is not done. MGM needs a ton of work and Epcot could use a little. MK needs some love too. I just don't think a 5th park is necessary right now. Also, AK is an original Walt idea?

Well, the idea of a ride that used real animals was Walt's idea for the Jungle Cruise.

I heard it was going to be themed about the Disney Villians & it will mostly have roller-coasters so they can keep up with Universal & it is going to be a teenager/adult theme park, but thats what I have been told.

That's been on the rumor mill for a long time. I really doubt a fifth park'll happen in the next few years. Maybe for WDW's 50th or something, but not anytime soon.
