This is a neat idea. I hope it does happen, (just the ride, not a whole park) but could you imagine the lines for that thing? My sister is HP obsessed, so I know we would be riding that over and over again.

would it be based on the movies and books, or just specifically the books? And, if it's based on the movies, doesn't Warner Brothers hold the copyrights on the film franchise?

Well, haven't you noticed that lately the HP movies have been being played on the Disney Channel? I'm not sure about this one, it is quite confusing, but doesn't it seem that Disney has a part in almost everything these days? And trust me, that's not a bad thing... the world could never have enough Disney.

I haven't noticed because Disney channel hasn't shown much within the past year and 1/2 that has interested me. Toon Disney is where it's at for me

Well think about this, if they bring in a Harry Potter ride they may get rid of a classic! Are you sure you want a whole Mr.Toad's Wild Ride fiasco?

Or they may get rid of a waste of space attraction. I don't think anyone is clinging to Sounds Dangerous like there were Mr. Toad.

Let's face it, they could easily close SD down and put something else in there.

I am all for this idea. I know it is just an agreement to look into it, and not a definite sign that they will do anything, but the books are bursting with ideas that could have a huge draw. Think about it, A "Haunted Mansion -esque" ride through Hogwarts that includes famous scenes like Potions class, the moving staircases and talking portraits, or that three-headed dog from the first book; and attraction using similar technology to "Soarin'" that simulates a Quidditch match (I'd get motion sickness) or a flying lesson, or any of a dozen other ideas. J.K Rowling's imagination seems to be a natural fit with Disney parks. For crying out loud, the kids even get to Hogwarts by train, so you know Walt would have loved the books!

I would love the park! After all i am the Harry potter master! Maybe they should make a little park with 5 rides and a bunch of shows, just like MGM.
    Got Disney?

I completely agree here, I think it's time for something more entertaining to go in that spot!

I love Drew Carey, but Sound's Dangerous NEEDS to go! A HP attraction will attract more people than Sounds Dangerous.

    Hi guys--

I personally have some very strong feelings on this subject, epecially Jim Hill's involvement in "breaking the news."
