    Cinderella Castle new Paint?

I read on another web site that Cinderella Castle might be getting a new paint job? Something with a brownish tinge? Like the castle in Tokyo. Can anyone confirm this? I have seen pictures of the Tokyo castle and it is an interesting color.

I highly doubt Cinderella castle will get a new paint color because they JUST repainted it it's original color. PLUS, it has been that color since WDW opened(besides the whole stupid cake decoration*rolls eyes* that was just a stupid idea)

You're right...just another one on the rumor mill. I never saw the Castle when it was a Gaint pink birthday cake in person, but the pictures reminded me of Pepto. I absolulty love the color of the Castle. Does anyone know if they are keeping the golden Peter Pan characters?

All the gold characters are gone. Cindy's house is back in all of its original glory!!

I was there when the castle was a "cake." Trust me, it was tacky!! By the way, WELCOME Heartsdisney! And I agree with you that the castle is fine the way it is.

I think they said that they are repainting the Tokyo Castle a different color to distinguish it from the WDW Castle, but I could be wrong.

I saw a picture of the Tokyo Castle and it looks brownish, but it might have been the lighting. I think that you can tell the difference between the Castles though.

I liked the gold trim and would not have minded them leaving it.

that would be cool if it was sold on ebay, i would love to have some of the characters, they would probably be pretty expensive though

    painting going on now

we were there this week (left today). the crane has been up all week and they take it down at night, but they were spraying all of the spires with a goldish color.

btw- I'm hooked. this was my family's first trip as a family (us and our 4 and 5 year old kids), and my wife and mines first trip in 10 years. We're already planning next year!
