Its no problem its that I seen Freedy at the end of the ride in that clip full of those classic movies & MGM got me thinking when I saw them selling Freddy vs. Jason t-shirts about 3 years ago.
I Must Be Crazy!!!
I'm not necessarily against replacing the Alien scene. It is a classic though. Not one of my favorites, but a lot of people like the movie, and it often comes out near the top of all-time horror/thriller lists.
Replacing it with Pirates makes sense, I guess. It can't really be a classic until it stands the "test of time", but it certainly is poplular enough. Its just that I'm feeling some pirate overload. It seems that they are making the parks more similar to each other, and synergy is absolutely running wild.
But taken by itself, I can't really argue too much with putting a Pirates scene in the GMR. Star Wars would be a better choice, or LotR for that matter, but those aren't Disney properties...
How about Alien vs. Preditor?
Yeah your right!
Now here's some movies I'm thinking that could fit in the ride:
Star Wars- Luke & Vader fighting it out with their lightsabers or Vader & Obi-Wan doing the same in which flames bursting out when guests see them.
Nightmare on Elm Street- Total darkness & your in a boiler room & guests hearing strange voices until Freedy appears & he teases guests until their in the next room.
Conan the Barbarian- Arnold Schwarzenegger fighing a giant snake.
Enter the Dragon- Brue Lee fighing with 4 men.
