if they do decide to take action, the site could be shut down at the least. people are not suppose to talk pics of the reconstruction and rehabilitation processes that occur on property

With respect, I think that's mostly FUD [fear, uncertainty, and doubt]. If something's visible from a Guest Area, and the person taking the picture is a Guest, not going in any off-limit areas, there's nothing Disney can do about the pictures, really. Potentially, they could try and file a lawsuit, but I really don't think that any court would shut down a website for this. I'm not sure of what grounds they would even try to do that under... Not like they have everyone sign a non-disclosure agreement on entering the park

Now, of course, if you were to be a CM taking pictures from behind the wall or backstage, that's another story altogether.

(of course, I'm not a lawyer, but.)

And just where is this information posted? I have never seen a sign on a re-hab saying that taking photographs were prohibited.

Now if the person somehow got backstage I could see where you are coming from.

my family has worked at disney over the yrs and i grew up knowing that stuff like that wasn't allowed

Maybe Disney wanted us to see it if we knew where to look. They did that at Mission Sapce before it opened, they left peak holes.

Even though this isn't my board, I wanted to say thanks for the words of advice, and appreciate that you're looking out for us. However, I seriously doubt that anyone in possession of rehab photos taken via guest areas are in any danger of reciprocation from Disney. I would think that if Disney were concerned about potential rehab photo leaks that they would close off possible vantage points from all guest areas, as well as increasing the height of the walls surrounding the attraction(s).

I suspect the reason that they conveyed this caution was probably due to you being privy to non-public areas, and they wanted to keep you out of trouble. …Much for the same reasons that guests are now allowed to be equipped with cameras during the “Keys to the Kingdom” tours.

Yes, it definitely says March 18th on the website.... so I don't think the official website would lie, which is exciting, because thats a lot earlier than I thought. Thank you.
