Thank you Lou! It's a great Disney podcast.
I look forward to each episode. They're more than just a diversion on the train into the city, they're great entertainment and education too. I like them so much I listen to them twice. :mousetune
The variety of music is a nice addition and I really enjoy it when Lou invites guests to stay and provide their feedback on other news. And his guests! What a great selection of backgrounds and topics.
My only complaint is that he doesn't do a daily show.
Thank you so much Lou for all the great work.
Lou, I'm not sure if it's your legal background, but your interviewing skills are really top notch. You seem to ask all the right questions that really helped Mr. Ridgway open up and give us great look inside the Disney parks and even Walt himself. Your banter back and forth with Ms. Goldsbury was also really interesting in that she probably mentioned some things she wasn't expecting to and it made for a great show!!
Maybe you ought to consider bumping Conan out of the Tonight Show spot in 2009 and take over for Jay Leno yourself.
Another great show this week lou . I can not wait till next weeks episode.
Terrific show once again. The Ridgway interview was just a joy to listen to. Honestly Lou, it should have been twice as long.
As for Lou's interviewing skills, I did catch one thing. When Ms. Luxury was commenting on how she felt about Alfredo's, I sensed a bit of...angst in Lou's voice. Perhaps Lou doesn't agree as much as he claimed???
Oh, and I forgot one thing. As far as the 4 Seasons goes, I can't disagree more with either of you. Spending major funds and effort on soemthing non-Disney and selling of more and more of Disney's land to satisfy the ultra-picky is not something for me to get excited about.
Just finished episode #5...Well done again, Lou!:hurray:
I was glad I listened...I thought I saw you at the P & P Party on Mon 3/5..If you noticed someone staring at you, that may have been me:lol:
Then I decided not to go over cause I didn't want to bother you with your family and I didn't to make a fool out of myself if it wasn't you...But now I am pretty sure it was.
LOL:rotflol:
It took me three days to listen to the whole podcast (hit the forward button on the shuffle instead of sound and you have to start over from the beginnin), but it was well worth the time and effort.
I doubt I will ever feel the need to stay the the new Four Seasons. Sounds a bit "stuffy" - like dress for dinner - type atmosphere. Great for a special event, but not what I aim for while on a vacation.
I definitely will be buying Mr. Ridgway's book. If it reads the way he talks, I think it's one I won't easily put down till I reach the end.
Great music. Great interviews. Great info.
keep the background music - love the disney tunes!!!
I agree that this was yet again a fabulous show, Lou! And I will also be buying Mr. Ridgeway's book. There was one thing I heard you say that totally shocked me (trivia geek here) and I cant remember if it was this episode or the last one, but I cant believe that is Tim Conway as Mr. Einstein in EEA. TOTAL SHOCK! Im going next week and must take this one in to see it for myself. What a HOOT!!!!
Ya, I agree about Einstein. I have always wondered who played him. I can't believe I never picked up on that. I used to love Tim Conway as a kid. He is extremely funny.
Hey Lou,
Great interview with Mr. Ridgway. Question: Did he ever do voice over work? He has a great voice and it sounds familar?
