Podcast Awards Voting is now open!

I am happy and grateful to be able to announce that my WDW Radio Show (www.wdwradio.com) has been nominated for the Best Travel Podcast for 2007 over at www.PodcastAwards.com.

I really appreciate all of your continuing support, and now I'd like to see if I could ask for a little bit of help.

Voting for the podcast awards began on July 28th and will end on August 11th. If you like, you can vote once per day, and must verify your vote via an email you will receive. All you need to do is head on over to www.podcastawards.com, look for the Travel category (bottom right) and vote for WDW Radio. You will receive an email that needs to be verified, so please be sure to validate your votes. Remember you can vote every day, but only once per day.

Anything you can do to please help spread would also be appreciated. I consider myself very fortunate to be considered this year among such an impressive group of shows. The competition is going to be very tough this year, so every vote counts.

While you are there, you can also cast a vote for other friends of the show, including Inside the Magic (Best Produced), Comedy4Cast (Comedy). A big congrats to Jeff from the Meandering Mouse, who was also nominated in the Travel category. (I really like the show, but would prefer that you vote for my show instead. LOL)

I wanted to use your quote just to use the smilies again. You are too much! LOL AND yes, I have voted twice and will place my vote for today and a few minutes. GO LOU!

Wow are they specific. I usually vote after 8 pm here, and when I tried to vote now (6:55 pm) they said I'd already voted within the last 24 hours. Talk about picky!

It stinks that I have to pick between 3 great Disney podcasts. I have selected to vote for Lou. Its going to be tough for any podcast to go head to head with dis-unplugged since they have the Disboards for votes. Unfortunately most of the members will vote without listening to the other podcasts.

Next year wdwradio should also be filed under Education. I learn so much about Disney when listening to wdwradio.
