I listen to Disney Podcasts all the time and while some people think Lou's podcasts are too long, I have many more hours in my week where I'm constantly looking for a Disney Fix. So I also listen to...
All About The Mouse
Inside The Magic
and the Official Disney World Podcast
I've tried others, but many of them are only half-thought out, sound like they're being posted by a 14-year-old or just consist of audio taken while walking around the park.
I like trivia and analysis and stuff like "Top 5 Disney Villains" or A close look at the Epcot Pavillions or Characters we'd like to see more of.
Besides WDW Radio, what do you all listen to?
I just listen to WDW Radio and WDW Today, there were others I tried but they just didn't do it for me. http://www.wdisneyw.com/forums/images/smilies/music.gif
The Bare Necessities podcast isn't bad . . . Food is a major part of my enjoyment of WDW, and they focus many casts on their dining and snack experiences. Their podcasts are also fairly short, which is important to me since WDW Radio and WDW Today are "musts" for the week, no matter how busy it gets.
I listen to the ones you do as well except for Magical Definition. Is that a good podcast? I am always interested in new Disney podcasts.
I have also tried the DIS unplugged but am not a big fan of it.
I didn't care for DIS unplugged either. Magical Definition isn't the greatest - think of it as Lou's substitute teacher - but they often have interesting discussions (although they're too rough on Pixar.) Tim Devine (Magic In Pixels) is the best of the 3 regulars and they often have Jim Hill as a guest.
By the way, I'm not looking to BASH other Podcasts. I applaud and envy everyone who takes the time to create a regular show and share their Disney Love. Everyone will have their personal choices, and just because Sonny and I don't like DIS Unplugged, that doesn't mean the podcast or the people who put it together are bad. Their show just isn't our cup of tea.
Well put FigmentMushu! There are a lot of people giving up a lot of their time to put something together on a topic we all love. I've listened to a few other podcasts to fill in when I've finished listening to WDW Radio for the week. The others are OK, but the best in my opinion is WDW Radio.
I love Lou's pod casts. I think I have listened to his interview with the Dream Finder about 15 times. I also listen to WDW today. Those 4 guys just crack me up. Listened to the mouse lounge for the first time yesterday and am trying to warm up to it. besides those I have not listened to any others.
Meandering Mouse is cool if you need your park fix.
Also try mousplanet and mousestation podcasts. They used to be seperate, but now they are on the same feed. Short shows about 4 times a week. News, Reviews, and Listener Feedback are the main topics. Lately the host has had some great interviews with producers of MNSSHP and MVMCP, as well as the head honcho of the Food and Wine festival, and the disney dining plan. They were pretty good if you are interested.
Good thread topic I'm always looking to add to my disney pc lineup.
I always start my week with The WDW Radio Show on Sunday evening. I try to listen to the news and rumors segment before bed on Sunday. Sunday night TV is usually football (again!!). I usually get through WDW Radio show by Tuesday or Wednesday. At that point, I listen to DIS Unplugged and Inside the Magic, which usually gets me to about Friday and then I listen to All About the Mouse. In between, I pick up those little mini-shows they have over at WDW Today. So, I have my week charted out. I only have one day without a fresh podcast and that's Saturday, but that's a busy day anyway without a lot of time to tune in. :mousetune
I too appreciate everyone and anyone who brings me a little closer to the Magic each week. I have listened to some that aren't my style, but that's why it is so awesome to have so much choice. And, even the podcasters themselves don't compete against each other. They have come together as one big happy community, so if they aren't competitive, there's no need for us to just choose one or two.
Yo may want to check out our show, the WDW News Today podcast. You can also check out our website for more info. It is hosted by myself and a bunch of other podcast hosts you may know such as John Corigliano and Steve Swanson. We cover just news and rumors, and occaisonally release some special episodes such as our "Epcot 25 years of Audio special".
Doesn't everybody love a shameless plug.
The only other podcast i listen to is magical definition and inside the magic. I was wondering is window to the magic a good podcast.
I enjoy Window to the Magic as it often has a Disneyland focus, which is my favorite park. I don't listen each and every week, but I do love to listen in as much as possible.

His 'Top 7' topics are unique (such as Top 7 places to Make Out and Top 7 places to get Coffee) and the back half is made up of high quality ride audio...some of it quite rare.
With the amount of time I have, I limit myself to 2 - WDW Radio and Inside the Magic. I like that they both have a genuine excitement about going to the parks, news and rumors while having major segments of the shows dedicated to the past and/or the history of how attractions came about. It's the balance that keeps me "tuning in" and always excited for the new show each week.
I also really enjoy Netcot, since Van is very outspoken and say what he feels and that makes people uncomfortable.
