What's your favorite dish at Akershus?

My family is going down in December and I'd like to know what everyone recommends at Akershus. We have 3 kids - 10, 6 and 3. None of us are picky eaters, but I wouldn't want a messy dish (like ribs) as I will be handling the camera a lot getting pics of the princesses.

Akershus is honestly my least favorite restaurant on Disney property. There isn't one thing on the menu that would make me go back. JMHO

I believe the draw is the Princesses not the food. Have a good time with the Princesses anticipate a lack luster meal, to me, much like banquet fare at a convention. My DD is past the Princess phase, we don't have to return, praise be.

Only ate at Akershus a couple of times and was never impressed with the main courses. I liked the salad bar, but didn't much care for the entrees. The the prices rose drastically and they added a photo package that I didn't want. I guess the company gave me a great exscuse not to go back. I do like the Kringla Bakery in Norway however. Good sandwiches and great desserts.

We went back before they had the princesses. My favorite back then was some sort of mushroom soup, but they've taken it off the menu once they added the princesses. We haven't been back since.
