Ok, I've purchased the race T-Shirts today. Is the plan for everyone to be wearing them during the race? Does anyone plan on wearing them to the Meet of the Month as well.

I have reservations at Boma on Friday morning for breakfast with room at my table for more folks (9:30 a.m.) Figured I'd have a good breakfast before heading over to pick up my registration packet. Anyone want to join me?

Also, I just signed up for the Wishes Dessert Party on 9/30. It has been extended through 10/30 - if anyone is interested (the price did go up to $21.99 though)

A question for anyone who has done the race before...

We're staying at Beach Club, which is not one of the resorts with transportation to and from the race. Would you suggest renting a car to get to and from the race, or would it be pretty easy to get a cab back to the hotel after the post-race party? Thanks!

My wife and I are also staying at the Beach Club. Last year we rented a car as I really wanted to be in control of my movement. I was doing non conventional things like checking in at the Wide World of Sports and I didn't want to be getting to AK early and sitting in the heat.

This year we are relying on taxis as a cost saving measure. We'll bus it for most of our movement but use a Taxi for check in and getting to the race. I really don't know what to expect in regards to how to get home after the race.

Thanks for the info! I just rented a car, so if we happen to be heading back to BC at the same time Saturday night, you guys are more than welcome to ride with us.
