Can I add, that I LOVE the videos from the parks.
With every new video I am a step closer to convincing my wife to make the trip to the other side of the planet.
Two Thumbs Up!
I was wondering a couple things about the vodcasts that you do from the parks and other areas of WDW. The first question is; what kind of camera do you use? The second is; in a few videos it's obvious that you have someone running the camera for you, who do you bring along for the job?
I realize it's a hectic time right now with the move so I don't necessarily(sc) expect an answer right away. Just curious about the Behind the Magic side of WDW Radio.![]()

SO glad to hear that you like the videos! They are great fun to do and I will definitely keep them up on upcoming trips.
On to your questions: what kind of camera do you use?: I use a consumer grade Canon HD camcorder
The second is; in a few videos it's obvious that you have someone running the camera for you, who do you bring along for the job?: When Senor Spielbergo is busy (he doesn't return my calls), my buddy (and eating partner) Glenn handles the video duties, then works his magic on the editing side as well. Big kudos to him!!

I would like to knwo what software you are using to assemble the video.
I love it!!!
Keep up the good work

I have to say, I love the new scrapbook-like cuts between scenes. Very cool!
How about the daily Disney updates? It appears you have some kind of harness setup or trii- or mono-pod that you are using so that you are doing it all on your own. How about a "behind the scenes" video of you making a daily Disney update???? lol
I agree. I too like the scrapbook transitions. What do you use Lou? It definitely enhances the daily dairy and makes it look very professional!

I have to give credit where it's due: iMovie is an amazing piece of software.
Speaking of which, I just uploaded today's show, and have to go work on producing the next Daily Disney Diary!![]()

The vids are awesome, Lou. You totally rock. A great way for me to get a taste of the parks when I'm jonesing. My question is how do you find the time to do all you do? Also, are you in the parks every day or are you shooting once a week and cutting it up?

- Yes, I do really hold the camera myself
- The Daily Disney Diaries are all from a single day, so anything in a single video will most likely be from that day's events. I may not have one for every single day that I'm on a trip up, but will try and do them as often (and as quickly) as I can when I'm there.
Glad you like them!!!![]()

Great work on the videos, to you and to Glenn!
I enjoy watching them, but it's also funny to watch other people in the background. Some of them give some really funny if not strange looks. Almost like, "Who is that guy?, or What's he doing?"
