No, it downloaded and soon as I hit the refresh button.
The problem I had was transferring it to my ipod. Were you able to put it on your ipod? I haven't had trouble with any of the other's.
I am having the same problem. The download to iTunes is fine, but the transfer to my iPod is not working. At least I'm not the only one......
I did not transfer it to my mp3 player. It is an older player, so I only transfer the audio podcasts not videos. Sorry, not sure what the problem might be.
Yes, I had the same problem. It came up in itunes, but wouldn't transfer to my iPod.
I'm having similar challenges. When tried to view it just in iTunes it would hang. Lou, was there an encoding issue?
I have a Zune and it came up in my list but wouldn't download.

The problem with this video podcast appears to be its resolution. All of the other video podcasts were posted at a resolution of 640x360 which is compatible with all iPods. The latest podcast was posted at a resolution of 1280x720 (high definition) which will play on a PC in iTunes (or on an Apple TV Device) but not on most iPods. That is why iTunes will not download it to the iPod and will give you an error that the video is not in a format compatible with the iPod. I have not tried it, but if you right click on this video podcast in iTunes, there is an option to create an iPod version (note that it may take some time for iTunes to do this).
Lou, I know you would probably like to post these in high definition resolution, but for those of us that like to watch your video podcasts on our iPods, could you post them in a lower resolution like the older video podcasts you've done?
One other question: Is this video available for direct download on the website (so I can bypass my Zune software)? It isn't with the Daily Diaries and I have not been able to find it.

It won't download to my ipod and it won't play right on my computer in iTunes either (Mac user).

Plays on my iMac, but the video seems to be a bit jittery, not real smooth. I just played the new Princess and the Frog trailer in 1080p high definition, so it is unlikely an issue with my machine.
I had no problem downloading it or getting it on my ipod, but it kept freezing when I tried to play it on my computer. I loved the episode though!!! I hope there's more where this came from... especially one in Germany!!
