Hello and welcome to The WDW Radio Show - Your Walt Disney World Information Station. I am your host, Lou Mongello and this is show #124 for the week of June 21, 2009. Thank you for tuning in once again, and a very happy Father’s Day to all of the dads and dads-to-be, especially my dad, my hero.

We’ll start off this week’s show with some news and a trip to the Walt Disney World rumor mill, where some old rumors have surfaced again, but look as though they may be closer to reality than rumor.

Planning for a Walt Disney World vacation is one of the most important and fun elements for an enjoyable trip. And when traveling to Disney with a large group or family, it can afford everyone opportunities to make incredible memories together. So this week, I’m joined on a roundtable by three brothers and sisters who have planned vacations with a large group, as we discuss the logistics and experiences, and offer advice to others thinking about similar vacations. And whether your family is big or small, close or distant, I think you’ll find this segment both interesting and valuable.

I’ll have another “Where In The World?” audio contest this week, where I’ll ask you to once again identify sound clips from Walt Disney World for a chance to win a prize package.

Really interesting show this week, Lou! Your roundtable with the three siblings about taking a larger size family to WDW was very interesting to hear about. I can see it being tough to plan, especially with these three who had a party of fifteen going down there. But all the points brought up were very good, and should definitely help those with larger parties. Again, great job Lou, keep up the great work!

Is anyone having a problem with downloading the show? I'm trying to download it on my iPhone and I've got 11 different choices.......all with differnt show lengths? It's just weird.

Wonderful podcast as usual!! We went as a group of 14 a couple of years ago. My father-in-law paid for us to go. 9 adults, a 10year old, 4yr old, 2yr old, 1yr old and a 6month old. The Olive family is right, don't try to stay together and make sure you have "alone time" from each other at times.

Lou, I love the audio trivia!! I just have one more to double check and I think I will have them all.

It sure was an interesting show....I just cannot imagine trying this for my family. I'm sure it would be an total disaster in planning. It was frustrating just planning for trips with my brother or sister-in-law on separate trips. I'm glad their trip was "magical" because I know ours wouldn't be.

One other point...I must be in the minority in my opinion of PhotoPass..I just can't see spending $100 on a CD of pix that they would have taken since I have not been impressed with the quality of the pictures they took. None of the pictures they took (that I didn't get on my own with my camera) were worth paying for. Now the pictures they took and we paid for at the event (Ohana, Cinderella, Princess Storybook)...those were good.

Needless to say...this show was educational and I'm impressed it turned out for this family.

Loved the large group planning segment. I've been planning a trip (with about the same number of people) for the last 2 years... with 2 painful years still to go! There's not a ton of large group planning info out there, so this feature was extremely helpful, and I learned quite a bit. Thanks Olives!
