And this week, I have the honor of being able to share such a conversation with you. With a career that has spanned decades in which she has shared her so many of her incredible talents, she will for many people always be known as the title character in what can only be described as a true masterpiece of filmmaking - Mary Poppins. A character and film that are both practically perfect in every way.

Dame Julie Andrews joins me in a one on one conversation as we talk about her role as Mary Poppins, how it came to be, working with Walt Disney and the Sherman Brothers, and so much more, including what is ahead for this incredible actress, singer, author and philanthropist.

I got tears listening to the interview. I had just watched the video of "Walt The Man Behind the Myth" It was so wonderful to hear Dame Julie's voice.

Wow, that was an awesome interview! I'm sure that over the years since Mary Poppins, Dame Julie has given countless interviews about the film, and this interview sounded so genuine, like she had just wrapped on the movie, what a classy person! I'd also like to know how Lou scored this interview, but he probably doesn't want to spoil the magic. Keep up the good work!

Your interview with Dame Julie Andrews was just amazing to listen to, and I can all ready tell that you are very proud to have gained the opportunity to speak with her. It's wonderful listening to her memories of Mary Poppins and working with Walt himself. Fantastic interview, Lou.

Your proposal for a Disney Cruise Line meet in 2011 is very interesting, especially on the new Disney Dream when it's open. I probably won't be able to make it, but it'll be awesome if you are able to do it. :) Amazing show this week Lou, keep up the great work!

Wow, what a great show! It was awsome. I loved seeing Julie Andrews in Mary Poppins and Sound of Music, and I enjoy seeing her in the Princess Diaries films.

What an incredibly gracious lady. And Lou, you were completely professional, and yet still warm and engaging, in your interview. Well done. For so many of us, like you, Dame Julie has been a wonderful part of our lives for many years. It's these kinds of moving interviews, combined with great pre- and post-music editing, that put you light-years ahead of everyone else.

Thank you all SO so much! This interview meant a great deal to me personally, and I'm not too proud to admit getting juuuuust a little choked up when I first got on the phone and she said hello.

Watching Mary Poppins with my family the other day made me appreciate the film, and my conversation, all the more. I mean it when I say that I felt honored to be able to speak with her.
