Hello and welcome to The WDW Radio Show - Your Walt Disney World Information Station. I am your host, Lou Mongello and this is show #134 for the week of August 30, 2009. Thank you for tuning in once again.

With what is looking to be an historic event for the Disney Company, and more importantly, for Disney enthusiasts worldwide, the D23 Expo is going to have something for everyone, including a few surprises I’m sure. Joining me this week to discuss the event, and possibly even hint at what some of those surprises might be, is Steven Clark, the head of Disney’s D23 community for Disney fans.

I’ll answer more of your listener emails this week, including questions about celebrating in Walt Disney World, discounts, kids clubs, the Disney Dining Plan as well as the Food & Wine Festival and so much more.

I did notice that the background music during the email section is quite loud and is distracting to what Lou and Beci are saying.

Great show, Lou! Your conversation with Steven Clark on the D23 Expo was very exciting for sure! Makes me really jealous for all of you that are able to go to it! It sounds like the expo is going to be the beginning of something special for all of us Disney fans for sure. I hope you, Lou, and everyone else has an awesome time! Good job to you and Beci Mahnken on the emails, and congratulations to the contest winner as well! As always, awesome job Lou!
