Hello and welcome to The WDW Radio Show - Your Walt Disney World Information Station. I am your host, Lou Mongello and this is show #137 for the week of September 20, 2009. Thank you for tuning in once again.

I'm very excited about this week's show, as I have just returned from Disney's inaugural D23Expo in Anaheim, California and am looking forward to sharing with you details and stories from this incredible event. Joining me on a large roundtable this week are a number of guests who attended the event in various capacities, including some who attended virtually from their homes. It will be a fun look back and ahead at an historic event for Disney fans and the Disney Company for many, many reasons.

I have to say I was very disappointed in this week’s podcast I wanted details about what was at D23 i.e. what kind of merchandise was there what booths were there and what they had to offer. You just gave us fluff talk I had to go to another podcast to get any real info at least that other podcast posted video of what went on.

I'm curious about "the box" though. I totally missed this while it was happening. Can somebody explain it? I'm assuming it was a live stream of audio/video from the floor of the show, but where was it hosted on the web?

This was certainly a very enjoyable show this week, Lou! Your huge roundtable with everyone on the D23 Expo just really exemplifies how much fun the expo really was. I'm kicking myself for not being able to make it there myself, but hopefully I can in the future. I was a "box person" for a little bit during the expo weekend, but not as religiously as others were. As always, amazing job Lou! Here's to hoping there's another great expo coming next year!

I ran into you a couple of times during the Expo....though I think I ran into Deanna more. It was great seeing both of you and Justin at the Expo.

You'll have to ask Deanna if the "west coaster" that I tried to help her sell your Audio Guides, ever came back to buy the CD's. I did all I could to tell him how great they are.

I'm only into about 45 min. of the show at this point...so far it's been great.

I must be one of the few people that was not impressed with the Imagineer's Sandbox at the Parks & Resort exhibit. I was totally underwhelmed by it. Of all the things in that were in that exhibit, I was the least impressed with that.

As for the Archives...while I the quality was amazing, I loved what was there...there just wasn't enough there. There needed to be more. I was disappointed that we couldn't take pictures.

The celebrities present was great. I met Margaret Kerry, Paige Ohara, Tommy Kirk, Steve Barrett, Terri Hardin...oh and some guy named Mongello.

Of the celebrities mentioned...how could you not mention Belle (Paige Ohara)??????
