YESSSS!!!
I love it when Jim is on the show. Looking forward to listening to it tomorrow!
Thanks, Lou!
Hello and welcome to The WDW Radio Show - Your Walt Disney World Information Station. This is show #140 for the week of October 11, 2009. I am your host Lou Mongello, bringing a little bit of Disney magic to you each week in a fun, family-friendly show. Thank you for tuning in once again.
We'll start off this week's show with some news and some rumors coming from Walt Disney World, including the introduction of a new ride, a new tour and a new princess.
With the recent opening of the Walt Disney Family Museum in San Francisco, and some recent reminiscing about the extinct Walt Disney Story on Main Street, USA, the importance of Walt Disney, the man came up, especially in relation to the Disney parks. And while there are many references to him throughout Walt Disney World, many people unfortunately overlook an attraction that is much more than an interactive museum, as Walt Disney: One Man's Dream is a tribute to the man who started it all, and an inspiration to future innovators. This week, friend and Disney historian Jim Korkis joins me from Disney's Hollywood Studios as we take a tour through and detailed look at this attraction filled with hidden treasures.
I'll announce the winner of last week's contest, and give some additional information about upcoming events before playing more of your voicemails at the end of the show, so sit back, relax, and enjoy this week's episode of the WDW Radio Show.

Thanks Lou. I love One Man's Dream and I missed not checking it out in August or during my short stint on the Alumni Program over the summer. It is a fun, slow moving walk through time traveling experience about the life and legacy of Walter Elias Disney.

Great Show Lou!!
Whenever we go to WDW, I always have 1 day where I go by myself (yes I do ask for permission first - I'm a good husband & father) to the Disney attractions I love to spend a looong time just being a geek without feeling guilty. And "One Man's Dream" is on my list of attractions to do.
I always enjoy Jim Korkis's great knowledge of all Disney and the passionate way he speaks about it. It's entertaining as well as really interesting. I look forward his next "visit" on the show.
Kind Regards,
Bjorn
This week's show was fantastic Lou! I love when Jim is on and you guys did such a great job discussing One Man's Dream. I confess I haven't been through it and this weeks cast made me feel so bad about it I want to book a solo mission . . . err, research trip specifically to see it.
As always, great job!
Fantastic show, Lou!
I love when Jim is on, your segments with him are like mini Audio Guides.
By the way, my friends... if you like Lou's DSI segments, and his interviews with Jim, you'll LOVE the Audio Guides!! Go get 'em!
I vote for more Jim! Two thumbsWAY UP!!!

Listened to this week's show today Lou, really fantastic!
I wrote my final paper at university on Walt Disney so I spent a lot of time in One Man's Dream attraction doing 'ethnographic research' lol.
Also very excited that you announced meets for December.... I'll be in wdw with my sister & we are really hoping we can come and meet you!

Thanks for a great show on my favorite attraction at the Studios, One Man's Dream. I make at least two trips through it during every visit to the world. I was glad to see real steady traffic through it on my last trip a couple weeks ago.
I like the new little D23 exhibit too, I was looking at that bookcase thinking "got it, got it, need it, never knew about it, got it, need it, really want it, etc"
What a great show this week, Lou! Your in-depth tour of Walt Disney: One Man's Dream with Jim Korkis was just wonderful. I love seeing it every time I go to WDW, and it pains me how unnoticed this attraction really is to most other guests. It should be a must-see experience for everyone, and Jim's knowledge only made it much more apparent.Congratulations to the contest winner, as well!
Also, thanks for playing my voicemail this week (the very first voicemail played this week)! I definitely wanted to call you from WDW, and I'm glad it made it on the show. Also, I had an awesome time this past WDW Radio LIVE (I was JaySpyneHart in the box). Also, I even got a backpack out of it, hooray! As always, awesome job Lou, keep up the great work!
Keep it cool, and keep moving forward!
