Hello and welcome to The WDW Radio Show - Your Walt Disney World Information Station. This is show #141 for the week of October 18, 2009. I am your host Lou Mongello, bringing a little bit of Disney magic to you each week in a fun, family-friendly show. Thank you for tuning in once again.

Walt Disney World is filled with some incredible, unique dining experiences, and this week, we visit Mexico's San Angel Inn, where the atmosphere is as wonderful as the cuisine. Modeled after a Mexican hacienda dating back to 1692, the restaurant sits in perpetual twilight on the banks of a river, across from a Mayan pyramid and ruins, and features authentic dishes evocative of traditional Mexican fare. This week, we offer a live review from inside the restaurant as we enjoy some of the Inn's appetizers, main courses, and of course, desserts, as our serve explains every aspect of the meal, and the culture to us along the way. It's a fun segment that I think will not only make you hungry, but will make you want to visit the restaurant and pavilion as well.

This week's show is a little shorter than usual due to my schedule and some other projects I'm working that I'm going to share with you soon, but I'm also releasing a number of new videos as well, including an interview with a true Walt Disney World icon. At Disney's Beach Club Resort, Art Lark, known affectionately to guests from around the world simply as “Art the Greeter,” has been a fixture at the resort for years. And on one of his final days at the resort before retirement, I had a chance to talk with Art about his experiences, and what this role, and the Guests, have meant to him. I'll also have more videos from Disney's D23Expo, and a few other surprises as well, so stay tuned

Very nice show this week, Lou! Your live review of Epcot's San Angel Inn Restaurant was a real pleasure to listen to. You guys were making me hungry just talking about it there! I had the pleasure on my most recent trip to WDW of eating there, and this live review brought back a lot of those great tastes I had there.

It was a nice surprise for me to find it was so good, and I would definitely eat there again next trip.

It's soooo difficult not to listen to the past few shows. Especially when I read all the listener comments here on the board. Once again I've been saving them for the flight. They'll be great prep for the Food & Wine festival. Can't wait

That was a great show. I love San Angel Inn and it was nice to get a different opinion on the food. I can't wait to try the flan next time I go to the San Angel Inn.

Great show again Lou, Really enjoyed the dining at the San Angel Inn. Will have to try it again, have not eaten there in years. Seems there are so many great places to eat in EPCOT it often gets over looked. The atmosphere is truelly awsome in Mexico. Keep up the great work Lou, your podcasts are #1. I really really enjoy the start of your podcasts with the little music/sound clips. Now on to look for the answers to those trivia questions.

I'm not a big fan of Mexican food, but I really enjoyed the review of San Angel Inn, I absolutely love the enthusiasm and pride in which the Cast Members take in their work and their products.

I've listened to this podcast twice. I am heading to WDW over Thanksgiving break and we eat at San Angel Inn every time we visit. Not having any Spanish if my background, I'm having a hard time catching what all of the items are that the waitress is recommending. Can anyone post the recommended items?
