Walt Disney World's Space Mountain opened recently after being closed for the summer for a refreshing of this classic attraction. This week, I'm pleased to be joined for an exclusive interview with Disney imagineer Alex Wright - a senior show designer with Walt Disney Imagineering and creative director of the Magic Kingdom’s Space Mountain update. We'll look at the what goes into updating one of Disney's most popular and beloved attractions, including the process of going from concept to reality. We also discuss the changes, additions, new technologies, nostalgia, as well as some of what you can and can't see as well.

Great show, Lou! Your conversation with Imagineer Alex Wright on the refreshment of Space Mountain was very interesting to listen to. I am definitely much more intrigued to check out the new additions and changes to the attraction next time I'm in WDW. As always, keep up the great work!

I also enjoyed the interview with Alex Wright. However, I noticed that he totally sidestepped Lou's question about the audio system on SM. Lou, did you edit that out or did he just not answer at all? This is the ONE question that I was sitting on the edge of my seat waiting to hear the answer to, and I didn't get one!

Thinking of you and you dad today. It is a sad reality that as our parents get older, we become the ones that take care of them. God's blessings to all the Mongello family.
