Just out of curiosity what ever happened to Jeff from the early shows?
I think Jeff took some time off for various reasons, so of which he explained on his blog. But I would love it if he would return!
Check out his blog: 2719 HYPERION
agreed, although I don't know what happened, he was a great assest to the show and I really miss his DSI's.http://www.toontowncentral.com/forum...a/smiley61.gif
THNX i forgot about his blog.
His departure was also clarified on a thread somewhere else on these boards, as some hyperbole was suggested regarding his departure which Lou addressed.
2719 Hyperion actually just underwent a nice redesign and is being updated much more frequently now.
Thanks for the links.
I so enjoyed the times they spent together. I had forgotten. It seems obvious by the posts of Lou and Jeff that they have gone their separate ways. Sad I am, they were very good together. I went back to review. Hope Lou picks up yet another partner to podcast with.
Like in Chicago we have WGN Radio. We have shows with only one voice and others that are in pairs. The pairs always seem to do better as they have someone else to bounce the conversation with. Rambling doesn't seem to happen in pairs here.
I love Lou's themes but miss the days that he had some one to build the excitement with. Maybe there is a third out there somewhere?
Lou very rarely podcasts solo anymore. In fact, the show is more collaborative than the early days (though even back then, it was very much so). Ryan Wilson and Chuck Lionberger have been frequent guests for special segments, Tim Foster joins in on the Top 10 lists (though we haven't had much of those lately), Becki helps with the Reader Questions, and they've been doing more and more roundtables lately with other friends and colleagues of the show. While I miss Jeff's voice and input immensely, i wouldn't say that there is any lack of partners to build excitement with on the show now!
Lou's like Dean Martin these days. He's the host, but he gets plenty of guests to drop by.
I wish Jeff Pepper still did the DSI's with Lou. They were my favorite segments of the podcast by FAR! Hearing those two geek-out over the smallest details brought the geek out in me  I listen to those shows over and over again. I read his blog, but it's just not the same as hearing his voice. Jim Korkis & Ryan Wilson know their stuff, but I really miss Jeff.
What about me guys????
I think a DSI with Jeff Pepper and Tim Foster would be fun... a 4 hour segment, but still fun :)
it's ok man!
(Insert comment here).
Since we are on the topic of old co-hosts, I've been curious about what happened with Mousetunes & Nathan Rose. I listened to the last couple shows and then the first couple of WDW Radio & Magical Definition (Nathan & Jim Hill's podcast). The tension on the last couple shows was obvious, but they were talking about future shows then, all of a sudden they had separate podcasts. Neither one addressed it. Anyone know was it just that they had a falling out? Lou seemed upset with Nathan's behavior after he announced he was going to run the marathon. Just curious! :inquis:
