Is the Evo a smart phone (I think it is)? If so, check out an app called BeyondPod. That's what I've used for years (several years on a Winphone and now on an HTC Incredible, Android based phone). I very much like it. Unfortunately the free version only lets you download one thing at a time and doesn't do auto-downloads. So far that's been an annoyance but not enough to pop for a license. They're not expensive, mind you, but being out of work, I'm watching every penny. But in general I have been very, very happy with this app over the years.
