I had never really considered this restaurant but after listening to this review, I am going to have to give it a try on a solo trip (not thinking I would bring my kids here).
Great review and the server sounded like he was great as well.
Live Restaurant Review of Todd English's BlueZoo
Hello and welcome to The WDW Radio Show - Your Walt Disney World Information Station. I am your host, Lou Mongello, and this is show #204 for the week of January 9, 2011.
An important part of the Walt Disney World experience for me and many other people is enjoying the wide variety of dining options that are available. And while there are many tried and true favorites, there is also a large number of locations that are very much overlooked. This week, we explore what I believe is one of those restaurants. Located in the Walt Disney World Dolphin, Celebrity Chef Todd English’s BlueZoo offers fresh seafood in a spectacular setting where both the food and décor are works of art. We’ll do a live restaurant review of BlueZoo and let you share in our overall dining experience, as we also chat with our server, the General Manager, Sommelier, and Executive Chef.
I’ll have a few announcements, and then play some of your voicemails at the end of the show, so sit back, relax, and enjoy this week's episode of the WDW Radio Show.

I had never really considered this restaurant but after listening to this review, I am going to have to give it a try on a solo trip (not thinking I would bring my kids here).
Great review and the server sounded like he was great as well.
In my honest opinion, this is probably the worst episode released yet. Around 18 minutes in, the audio tracks overlap making it difficult to listen to. The review lacked eloquent descriptions of the food's appearance, texture and flavor. Also, there was way too many "MMMMMMMM"s and "OH MY GOD"s. I know they were simply expressing how great the food was but it's kinda hard to keep an appetite when you hear grown men making these sounds.
After winning a Podcast Award, there definitely is a reputation to uphold now more than ever. This episode wasn't the way to do it. Hope for a rebound next week.
And before anyone suggests burning me at the stake for voicing my opinion, please keep in mind just that: it's my opinion. Lou himself encourages this kind of feedback.
I loved this episode!
I have not dined at bluezoo...yet. Like all of you, it isn't something that has come to mind when I start thinking about making ADRs for my next trip. It's tucked away in a resort I don't usually frequent.
But... hearing all of you considering the menu, making choices, enjoying the presentation and the taste of all your courses- all this made me want to include bluezoo on my next trip!
All I am missing are the food porn photos. Where are they?
(oh, wait a minute... I think I found a few on the show notes page- but most of them look like stock phots from the restaurant)
Excellent show- loved every lip smacking moment!
I am looking for the pictures too!
I was listening to this episode the other night at work while catching up on episodes I missed while my earbuds were broken.
I remember Lou saying "don't eat until we take pictures of the food!"... so where are the pictures?

I've eaten at Todd English's Olives at the Belagio in Las Vegas and loved it. However menu prices were a bit high (I got $50 pre-fix menu so saved a good deal). Blue Zoo sounds similiar in quality/price.
I enjoyed the review since it was not a restaurant I would have normally considered, but I do have trouble listening to a full live restaurant review because the eating inbetween things and weird pauses sometime throw me off. I usually reserve listening to these when I'm on a long run or semi occupied so I can chime in and out of attentiveness.
I prefer the podcasts where top food suggestions, locations, menus are just discussed.
