    Mousetunes return?

So I tried doing a search to see if there was a post about this, but I didn't find one. I used to be very active in the Disney online community between 2005-2007 and I guess a lot has changed in 3 years!

I still remember listening to the very last Mousetunes! I was surfing the internet this evening to find that MouseTunes is under new ownership and is returning? Can anybody explain when this happened, who is taking over, and if anyone else thinks this is the best idea? I think that the original MouseTunes with Lou and Nate is irreplaceable and should be treated as such.

Wow - this is the first I've heard of it! I used to listen to Mouse Tunes as well and loved it, but would seem a bit strange if it came back now, especially after such a long time since it finished.

It seems that the domain name went up for sale . I visited the site and it looks like they are cashing in on the reputation the old podcast built up.

That's why I'm not sure if it's such a great idea! It seems to be the same people who bought Magical Mountain. I still think it should stay retired. It was such a great show.

Even if it returns in some form....I doubt that either Lou or Nathan would be involved, so what would be the point?

    Re: Mousetunes return?

I am REALLY confused about what is going on with Magical Mountain, Magical Definition Podcast, and MouseTunes... Nathan hosted the last Magical Definition Podcast which came out at the end of May... soooo what is going on?

Last I heard, Nathan had sold Magical Mountain, but NOT Magical Definition. As far as I know, MDP is slated to continue in it's current format, with Nathan and Jim, indefinitely.

I haven't been to Magical Mountain since the sale, so I don't know what's going on there. As for Mousetunes, this thread is the first I've heard of it since Lou and Nathan went their separate ways. Others here have said that the domain was available so someone snapped it up and is planning to use it for their own purposes. There's nothing wrong with that - I'm sure that if either Nathan or Lou didn't want it to happen, they would have ponied up the $35/year or so to keep it off the market.
