Shades of Green
Lou, I don't know if you have ever done a show strictly about the Shades of Green Resort at Walt Disney World, but I think if not, then you should. The history of the site, the amenities it affords our men and women in uniform (and retired personnel as well), plus the relationship between SOG and the Disney would be informational to our military families, but would be very interesting to Disney fans as well! Having had the pleasure of staying at SOG on a number of occasions, I am very pleased this resort is available to our military families, and presents an affordable option for those families that are serving the nation, and unable to stay at the higher end resorts. It may not be purely Disney, but it holds a special place to all of us service personnel who are serving, or who have served. All the best Lou, and keep up the AMAZING work you do!

Re: Shades of Green
And yet it is pure Disney. I was on that property was it was one of the Disney Property Golf Hotels. The history of that property from Day One is quite interesting. From the pretty grounds to the White Elephant Hotel that wasn't thought out properly. A lot of history.

Re: Shades of Green
While we have not stayed there, we have had friends stay there that loved it during their leaves from Iraq and Afghanistan.

Re: Shades of Green
Shades of Green is a great AFRC option for military, DOD Civilians etc.
Check out show #108.
My favorite option has been when I call and they are booked and can get a room at a Disney moderate resort for the same price. Being able to walk to the TTC and Poly is great too.
