Podcast: Building the Magic Kingdom

I have been a long time listener and I am trying to track down a show I heard quite some time ago. Lou and a guest were talking about the construction of the Magic Kingdom. I think remember them talking about digging Bay Lake and using that dirt to raise the Magic Kingdom to accommodate the utiladors. Does anyone know that show number this was? I've searched on the website and on iTunes but can't find it. Any help would be great. Thanks!

Sounds lik it might be one of the shows with Jim Korkis or Chad Emerson from Project Future.

Thanks for the suggestion. I just searched for Chad Emerson and it's show #178 where they talk about the process of selecting the location for the Magic Kingdom. After listening to most of it unfortunately I don't think that is the show I'm looking for... I seem to remember that there was a show where there was lots of detail about building the park and the first hotels... But maybe I'm just stringing together tidbits from several shows. It was one of the 7 Wonders episodes Lou did with Jeff Pepper back in the day. Jeff was probably the most regular guest Lou has ever had(and my personal favorite). The episode you're talking about is #36 I believe.

YES!! That was it! Thank you so much! I just listened to it and Show #36 with Jeff Pepper talks about the construction of WDW being one of the 7 Wonders of WDW. This is what I was looking for.

I actually had that show fresh on my mind because I just listened to it last week. I listen to multiple episodes of the show every day but I find that I enjoy the old shows much more and listen to them more frequently.
