Walt Disney World Christmas

Hey, I know that many of you are in the holiday spirit - as am I - and I spent a good hour watching the Travel Channel 'Disney World Holidays' show last night with Samantha Brown, so I figured a new thread was in order. The last time I was in Disney World around the holidays was for new years in 1995 - so it's been a while! I'd love to hear great stories, favorite attractions, best parties, etc. about 'the World' during the holidays. Pictures are a bonus!!! Anyone with great shots of the special Christmas decorations, parades, and events should post them as well.

This program is a couple of years old, but I still love watching it.
If you read my trip report, I just got back. I loved Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. And we loved touring around to some of the resorts to see the special decorations. But I think that in this show, it seemed like there were a lot more than there is today.

I was at WDW at Christmas in 2003. It was pretty am azing. We did Mickey's Merry Christmas party and had a ball!

I absolutely love Samantha Brown, she is absolutely adorable and cracks me up with her campy humor. This special is great, definitely see it!

My DH and I were down there Dec. 4-8th. It was the first time we've been there before Christmas. We usually go at the beginning of January. The decorations are still usually up then but slowly we notice that they come down. It was great to see them all this time. I think I took over 500 pictures and most of them were of decorations, santas, parades and lights.

ok.. I was flipping through the channels and Travel Channel always seems to have many disney episodes...I've been to disney during the holidays and never realized how much they actually do! I was amazed..I loved the show!

We're going in December for out next trip. Can't wait for the gingerbread from Grand Floridian!
