    Gift Ideas for Upcoming Trip

We are taking my daughter on her first Disney Trip next year. Both Grandmothers are going as well.

So my wife and I want to start getting them excited about Disney. We'd like to get them some type of Disney gift for Mother's Day that they could use for the trip.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!!

Copies of Lou's trivia books? (will my check be in the mail, Lou?)
order some dvd's that look at the history of the parks or of different WDW events
you didn't state your budget, but new digital cameras would be nice
    mini-V What will you celebrate?

I'll second copies of Lou's books, if they don't have them already. Two grandmas.... vol 1 for one, vol 2 for the other?

Also, check out http://www.guidetothemagic.com/shopping.htm These books are wonderful - great for both getting excited about going and for keeping the memories when you've returned.

You didn't mention what time of year you're coming, but what about some kind of hats for protection from the sun? Or maybe a couple of those little handheld fans (the kind that run on AA batteries and clip onto a belt loop or purse strap -- you'd be surprised how effective they can be when it gets really hot out).

Do the matching t-shirts thing, maybe add something about our first trip to Disney with our grandchild. If you are into the whole scrap book thing and nice [post trip idea is to do a scrap book with all the pcitures you take. Grandparents love that stuff!

I have seen many families that have their own matching t-shirts. Make something up on the computer and print it out on t-shirt iron on paper and make your own,

(Remember to print it backwards as the directions say as it is ironed on in reverse so it reads correctly after transfered)

Its a good way not to loose your group and it looks cool in the pictures!

How about giving everyone a disposable camera and let then each take picture of the trip though their own eyes. I have my daughter do it each year.... its great to see the shots from a kids view, they may not be centered or very good but the are usually great! Then take all the photos and make up a memory book for everyone in the group!

If they are bag carrying types, how about a baggallini. I hear they are light (for parks) and ergonomically designed. If not, possibly a small wallet type carrier for passes and cash. You could add Disney Dollars to either.
