Do you guys ever try harder than you probably should to put yourself back there in your mind? Sometimes I feel like, if I concentrate hard enough, I can almost smell the monorail or feel the heat rising off of Main Street.

If you closed your eyes right now and tried to go there, where would you go? Describe it for us.

Mine is sitting on the monorail on my way back to the hotel. Being completely exhausted. Listening to excited kids recap their day. The smell. The air conditioner. The guy saying, "Please stand clear of the doors. Por favor mantajbca blah blah blah."

I always have "withdraws" randomly in the middle of the day> I love them though because it makes me feel really close to it without actually being there. Usually mine is somewhere in the Contemporary (its where i always stay)

i agree with sitting on the monorail and smelling the air conditioner and the voice recording. Also, I hear the music and see the countries and epcot lit up at night. That is what comes to mind!

That voice recording is definitely one of my favorite sounds of WDW.

Sitting on the starboard side (right) of the first motor launch of the morning from Ft Wilderness and as you clear Discovery Island you see the spires of Cinderella Castle for the first time of the trip.

Any time I hear fountains or water falling, I think of the fountains of EPCOT. I can almost feel it spray on my face now as the wind is blowing.

I have become even more obsessed with the upcoming trip...I hang out here in the forums every afternoon for awhile, and have discovered that I have now been dreaming about it almost nightly. I feel like I am almost already starting to enjoy all the magic, even though I am still here in NH. When I close my eyes and day dream of my trip I immediately think of walking down Main Street at the MK. It is the first place we visit on our trip and usually the last place we visit also. I think it is because I can still remember the first time I ever walked down that street. And, that was almost 30 years ago.

I've got a HUGE container of popcorn that I bought to snack on while waiting for the fireworks to begin, and smelling it makes my mouth water for the next handful. People are starting to mull around and find their spot, but I've already staked my claim on the bridge. Vendors are moving through the crowds enticing guests with their electrified wares, and babies in strollers are already crashing after a full day with Mickey.
