Illuminations? What time?

When does Illuminations start? A friend and I are debating over the time. say the park closes at 9:00. Thanks!

If the park closes at 9pm then Illuminations would start at 9pm. Here is a link from allears.net showing the park hours for October and World Showcase closes at 9pm and if you look below they show the firework hours and it says there that Illuminations is at 9pm.........WDW Theme Parks

If you go to Disney's official website, navigate to WDW, and click on "Calendar" - it's a small icon, you might have to look for it - you'll be able to pull up an Epct calendar for several months. Each day will tell you when the park closes and when Illuminations starts.
