Theme Park "Shopping Pass" - does it exist?

A few years ago I heard of a "shopping pass" that would allow a guest to go inside a theme park to shop for an hour or two, then leave, without having to purchase a ticket. You had to leave a credit card number with the front gate and if you did not return in 2 hours, you were charged for a single-day ticket. Does anyone know if this is still offered? We won't be able to visit all four parks during our trip this June, but I'd like to zip in and see if a few items are available (or what new items catch my attention). I can see why this kind of thing isn't publicized, but I'm more than willing to part with a few dollars to buy souviners to help increase their profits.... Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

As far as I know, this hasn't been done for a very long time. Most of the items available are not unique to a single park anymore. Plus, can you imagine the number of folks who would try to use this route to eat in one of the parks without paying admission.

I know they do this at the "other" Orlando parks, but not at Disney.

I've not heard of Disney doing this, at least not recently. Sorry!
