if.... it were closer to home (say about 10 minutes instead of 1.25hrs)

if.... it still had the Main Street Electrical Parade (come on, MGM needs a night time parade!!!!)

if.... I could actually get them to send me my Mickey Monitor!

if.... the lines for all rides had a lane for people named Breakey only! (no?? .. ok, how about a lane for DWtrivia.com members only)

    I have more....

if it didn't take me 2 hours (sometimes a little less) to get there

if they'd finish the construction on I-4 so it no longer took me 3 hours to get there

if I didn't have to drive home all tired at the end of the day

    (noticing a trend)

if I could get to all 4 parks by monorail (thus allowing me to park only once)

if I never had to wait more than 10 minutes for any attraction

if I could afford to buy all of the stuff that I want when i am there

if the behind the scenes tour at MGM were a real behind the scenes tour....

if they brought Tokyo DisneySea to Orlando!
if they brought the Blue Bayou restaraunt to MK!

    Exclamation

if figment (my fave character) was back

He is, he is!!! He's been back for a few years now (at least since 2002, which was the first time I'd been there since 1989 - in fact, I didn't even know he'd been gone!)

...if I could live on property and work there 6 months out of the year and be back home in Buffalo the other 6 months and not have to sell my house to live my dream.
...if I could be "beamed" there by Scotty instead of flying.

If you worked April to August and found a roomie they'd be happy to have you as a Casual Regular or Full Timer. then you could change status down to a Casual Temp, or a Casual Regular (depends on how many hows you've worked, if you grab enough in your time you can go up to 5 months away without losing seniority in CR or Full Time) but why say April to August is because its the busy season.

WDW would be a better place if....

.... every CM embodied the spirit that Walt originally intended.

Hey, they're human and have bad days. But even in the six short years I've been going, it seems like the CM's have slipped in their dedication to customer service and satisfaction.

    Goofy,

I agree with you. I have been quite fortunate in that 99.999% of my experienced with CMs have been outstanding, and have helped further my passion for WDW. However, there was one occasion where we had a slight problem with a CM in Guest Relations. After some time with no resolution to the issue, my mother, while walking away, said it best (and this has become a running joke in my family)...

She takes a few steps, turns to the Guest Relations booth and shouts "Walt wouldn't have wanted it this way!" (I even quote this phrase in the book somehwere) Well, we thought it was hysterical way back then, but she was right.

Your mother had a very valid point and I would have loved to have been there to see the face of the CM!
